no if you pierce your ear you NEED to KEEP them clean - you got it backward

Not unless you pierce the taiga, then you still would have to clean that area to prevent infection until the piecing closed and healed. Your question sounds more like an old wives tale then the facts...could it be that you are looking for an excuse to have ear piercings?

ummmmmm no, the only way to keep your ears clean is to just simply wash them.

washing them will keep them clean. piercing them will put a hole in them and make them more prone to infection.
