You need to get out before you go crazy. Try taking your son to play in the park where he can meet with other kids, or see if you can get him into headstart where he can socialize. You can actually volunteer there too and it will help you to get out and meet people. Other adults! You seem so depressed. You can contact me if you would like to chat.

Wow. That is complete isolation to me. Why not take your son out for a walk or something and maybe meet some women at the park and make friends. Also, you could IM and meet people through here or at other places online. Also, you could get a job and drop your son off at daycare.

Look at the links I've posted; there are many groups that can help you to connect with others! You could maybe ask if they have someone to contact in your area?
Also you could write an ad and seek contact with other at-home mothers in your neighborhood. Put the ad in a local newspaper, a nearby store, church etc..
Try until you get in contact with someone, and don't give up if it takes some time! :-)

I'm going to school to be a kindergarten teacher and I think that if you get out with your son and meet new moms and new children for him to play with that it'll be very healthy for the both of you. It's essential for children to interact with other children just as it is essential for adults to interact with adults. I think also that maybe your husband could work third shift or you could work third shift to get out and do something. Also try to get a babysitter when your husband is home and get out- go to a movie or dinner. But most importantly talk about this with your husband. You need to let him know right away that this is not working out and that something needs to change.

maybe you could find a group or something you join on the internet..there's tons of those out there, take a walk, start doing something that interests you like scrapbooking, plant flowers, etc...
you have the computer and internet..if any of your friends and family do to..connect with them on yahoo or msn messenger..it's a great way to keep in touch..it's how i keep in contact with all mine since I live so far away from everyone cept my parents.
good luck to you!

Sounds lonely for sure. It should not be too hard for you to start IMing with people and making friends though. Give it a try.
