I like the first name Summer, and maybe Skye as a middle name? If you're talking about hyphenating the first name to Summer-Skye, I can't say I'm a fan. Either would make a very nice first name.

It's a lovely name, it really is! Remember, though, that your little girl will one day grow up and have to fill out job applications, resumes and make business telephone calls, so perhaps you could call her Summer and make Skye her middle name, or vice versa. I got the impression that you wanted her to be called by the two names together, and that's bit much for such a little one! Summer is a beautiful name, though, and so is Skye! Congratulations to you, and take good care of her and yourself!

That name invokes such lovely memories and thoughts. It is a gorgeous name and would so suit a pretty little girl of about three..but maybe wouldn't suit a judge or an office manager, and would be a real mouthful when said with a surname. I have a baby calendar with great tips on it, one of them suggested to be careful what you name your baby...like calling your petite little baby girl Blossom..and having her grow up to be a 300lb, 6' 4" shotput thrower!!
Ultimately you have to love the name and it is a very pretty name. Good luck whatever you choose..at least people would spell your child's name correctly..not like some of the bizarre names people are coming up with that are made up with silent letters and ethnic pronounciations that no-one will ever be able to spell or pronounce them by looking at the name.

i in my view ought to pick Skye because it truly is one in each and every of my favs!lol i understand too lots of those with the call Leeanne.it truly is an truly wonderful call, in spite of the indisputable fact that summer is sparkling and colourful. It purely resonates with me.that is because i imagine of warm temperature, love and satisfied days as adverse to chilly and dreary wintry climate and Autumn Skye is free-lively, interesting and sounds loving.properly, a minimum of it is why I photo in my suggestions Skye Marie Skye Leigh Skye Piper Skye Leeann Skye Shenae Skye Janae Skye Lola Skye Gabrielle Skye flowers Skye Fleur Skye Aurora Skye Tanit Skye Marisol Skye Marissa edit ooops, forgot about the boy Asher Dawson Dylan Blaine Rowan Kian

I think the names are pretty, but not together. She will get teased. My cousin's name is Autumn Skye. Some of the relatives call her hot summer nights , because of her name. Here's a list of names Tandra, Abigayle, Zoey, Larissa, and Makaylyn.

Summer's a beautiful first name, but with Skye it sounds way too lame. Reminds me of a porn star.

Maybe this will help:

Your question reminds me of an episode of Friends, where Ross and Rachael are having a baby, and she wants to name it Rain if it is a girl. Then Ross goes, "Hello, my name is Rain. I have my own kiln, and my dress is made out of wheat." So, no, don't name your kid those names.
