I need to get rid of spiders around the doorway outside. Too hot to drive to the store (I don't have A/C).

Yes, 409, the household cleaning product will kill spiders quicker and cleaner than Raid, it will also bring wasps right out of the air to dead in about 30 seconds, much faster than Raid and safer too. Once you spray them with 409 they will not be able to sting you, with Raid they will still sting for a couple of minutes.

Use a vacuum. Dont spray that smelly stuff even in the heat.. Just use a vacuum with the hose and get rid of the bugs.

If you have any Aqua Net hairspray, it works on critters-it freezes 'em. You might also try vinegar water in a spray bottle.

WD-40 ... ive never tried it on a spider, but it kills other bugs and bees instantly.

Try using a broom. Knock them down & step on them. You can smash them with the broom, but that will leave marks on your wall!
