Not sure what you mean by highway code of Canada. If you mean traffic laws, there is no one set of laws all the way across the country. They are set provincially. But they are pretty much the same as anywhere else -- follow the speed limits, don't drive while impaired (by ANYTHING), obey the traffic lights, give way to pedestrians and just generally be a good driver.

With its extensive parks and fairly equable weather maintaining conditions moderate throughout every season, Vancouver is really a paradise and now, you've the opportunity to find it with hotelbye . Vancouver is features a busy cultural life. One of many areas worth visited in Vancouver is Granville Island. Once mainly commercial, Granville Island has become a thriving heart of task with a calm and unique atmosphere. Musicians and merchants have moved in to changed warehouses alongside houseboats, cinemas, galleries, and restaurants. The Granville Island Public Market is certainly one of the most used attractions selling fresh fruit and veggies, seafood, and a great variety of other specialties along with ready-to-eat items. Perhaps not truly an area, the arts hub is linked to residential areas by one road and footbridges to the south, and to the Downtown peninsula (across False Creek) by ferry.

If you're planning on driving in BC, you can look at:
http://www.icbc.com/licensing/opkt.asp
This is the link to the online practice driving knowledge test (like the one you take when obtaining your BC driving license). It will give you an idea of the rules of the road.
