I never ate glue. But I did eat the white paste in the jars. I also ate dirt and the old fashioned starch that comes in a box. It looks like white stones and I think the name was Argo.
WHY? Does that make you a bad person?

It never occurred to me that school glue was something to eat. I don't think you need to worry about your daughters eating it. If the subject comes up about your husband doing it, just tell them that that was not a good thing as it could have made him very sick. (i.e. have you ever seen how dirty school glue can get?)

I never have but I knew a guy who ate it all of the time in school. And no pun intended, but he severely stuttered for a long time. Don't know if it was the glue or not. Kind of ironic though!

Check labels for safety when using glues that can present an inhalant hazard. Check labels for the term "nontoxic" when selecting glues, paints, crayons and chalks. School glue, watercolor paints, modeling clay and crayons manufactured in the U.S. usually are nontoxic.

I did, and it's non toxic, I mean as long as they arent eating the whole bottle....Just make sure it is the non toxic kind, or there really can be a problem. Alot of people have done it...if it was that bad, they wouldnt let the kids use it in the first place.

I remember trying it once in kindergarten also, there was a boy in the same class who ate it constantly and the teacher was always taking it away from him. Oh, the reason I tried it was because of seeing this boy eating it. LOL

I never did, but my sister did. My son ate it in kindergarten. It's non toxic, if thats what you're worried about. Basically, if they do, it wont kill them. LOL. And then they will be able to tell their kids, dont eat elmer glue, its gross. hehe.

Uhmm, no. and aren't teachers supposed to watch the students when they're in class. A lot of these packages tell you the ingredients and if they are toxic.
