Michael will succeed because and only because of Toyota. It may take a year or two but he will succeed. I can't say that his lineup of drivers is the best but the cars will be fast for sure. Look at Toyota in the truck series this year...they have the most wins to date by a good margin.

Nope! This guy is an accident waiting to happen. Look at all of the replays at New Hampshire and count the accidents he caused. The guy is a terrible racer and the only reason he is even in NASCAR, is because he is riding on the Waltrip name.

Even in Concord when he BOUGHT his way in, he managed to screw up other racers and finished what 42nd?

Unless his toyota car is powered by a rocket. Take a look at his stats. One pole and four wins in his career! He doesn't finish 20% of his nascar races. He is a joke of a driver. His average start is 21st and his average finish is 20th, come on. I wish i could keep a job with those kind of results. The real question is how and why would toyota want him?

Like any new team, he will struggle for a year or two before running well. Evernham hasn't exactly set the world on fire with his race teams until this year, and he's been around a while. Success is different things to different people. For me to just make a race would be success. So tough to just get in the show.

Michael Waltrip is a success already so I say yes he knows what it takes.

No he is a whiney little Momma's boy. What is the last cup race win anyway. The one thing he has going for him is Dale Jarrett - how could you not like DJ? But Dale is probably going to retire soon.

nope....he would be sitting on the sidelines with Johnny Benson and Loy Allen Jr. if it weren't for Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Why leave the only good thing that you have ever had in your life?

No. He needs to retire. He's got to be the worst driver I've ever seen!
