Jericho is a town in the West Bank, near the Jordan River. Jericho has a population of approximately 19,000. It is believed to be the oldest continuously inhabited settlement in the world. The current mayor of Jericho is Hassan Saleh. Three separate settlements have existed at or near the current location for more than 11,000 years!!!!
