I am a big girl and people never really get to know me before passing judgment. They just automatically put me in a catagory.

I too am a big girl as you call it...I have never had any problems getting a man or a friend. I myself think its my attitude...I am very self confident and very independent. I am also very loving and giving...if people are judging you then you need to get the attitude that you know who you are, you know what kind of person you are, and if they don't like it, they can go f*ck off.....lol...Be proud of you! Don't let this ruin your self esteem.

It's called stereotyping, the problem is they only look at the outer person, the most important part is the inner you, don't try to change as you will find true happiness and real friends for just being you, the people who judge are mainly false so don't worry.

It's human nature for people to judge others. Just remember that you are as God made you and He doesn't make mistakes :) keep on keepin' on :) Not everybody is going to put you in a category either, there are some nice people out there :)

Some people only see the book cover and care nothing for the contents...
Personally, the contents make the difference to me... The cover is just the outside and very transitory!!!

It's easier to judge a person then to sit down and know them. People are rude. I am a big woman and I hear their rude remarks and see their smiles as they laugh at me.

Because impressions are made within the first 15 seconds of meeting someone. It takes longer to get to know someone that that.

Unfortunately, its one of lifes woes.
i have the same problem, being a chunky one myself.
But looking at it another way, would you really want someone who judges looks rather than personality as a mate?

I don't judge people by their size. I judge people by their first impressions. If they act like a dumb ***, then I don't want to get to know them any better !!

I know... its just an instinct, human nature, you probably do the same. and you don't have to be big, it happens to everyone and everyone does it!
