Being a teen is about finding out who you are. Personal style is one of the fun ways you can express yourself, especially through makeup. Plus, a lot of teenagers feel better about their appearance with makeup on to cover up any flaws, or, what they consider flaws. Personally, I don't wear makeup, because I'm too lazy to put it on and I'd probably end up smearing it throughout the day. :)

Well, the answers for this question vary, I see, but my guess would be that it's just fun to put on. I wear it almost all the time (well, whenever I go out, at least). Also, a little make up never hurt anyone. As long as you don't use too much, then you can look really pretty. There's also the deal with enhancing the better features. Like, my eyes are really pretty, so I love to use eyeliner to make them stand out more (and draw attention away from my nose).

I am a teenager, and personally its because I NEED it. I have a very busy lifestyle and makeup keeps me looking perky and makes it looks as though i'm getting enough sleep! But i do not look like the average teenager, because none of my friends need half as much make-up as i do. So i suppose its just a difference of needs.

because they think it makes them look better. but a lot of guys say with so much makeup, it makes them look fake and ugly because they need so much. Most people look better without all that makeup. It is supose to enhance your beauty. But most girls put their face on in the morning, and when they wash it off they are wearing a mask.

Teens want to look older than what they really are basically. Makeup can make you look a few years older (if applied properly) and make you look more attractive

I am a teen and I don't where any makeup. I don't see the need for it. In my opinion I am prettier with just a tiny bit then a whole bunch!

I'm a teen . on my normal days I'm still wearing lip gloss or my pink lip stick because i like to bring out my lips. Thats about it. i dont like to mess around to much with the blush mascara and etc. Because i like my skin as is. Besides i feel like I'm literally making up a face that isn't mine. I just like to show off the lips, thats as far as i take it.

I'm a 14 year old girl. Not very girlie. I rarely wear make up. Mostly just kinda heavy black eye liner. I HATE wearing skirts/dresses. I HATE spending three hours in the morning to get ready. Fifteen minutes is all I need; It lets you sleep in later. Hahaha.

makeup can make a person feel pretty, or help 'cover themselves up'. teens are in an awkward stage and don't really know who they are. makeup makes you pretty, guys like pretty girls...you get the picture...
