My dream is to become an animator with Disney/Pixar and I want to know if there are any current animators/character designers/storyboarders on this site that could tell me how they like it or if there are any other people reaching for that same goal?

I'm a Junior at Arizona State University right now getting a BA in Animation and I plan to get my Masters at Cal Arts.

I'm a graduate of USC's masters program in animation, and some of our teachers are the same ones that teach at CalArts. I know a couple of people who graduated from USC that are working at Pixar now, and I usually attend the Cal Arts annual screenings in North Hollywood.

If you have never attended Siggraph before, you might also consider going to one of their annual conferences. http://www.siggraph.org/
The next one is in Boston at the end of this month, but biennially the conference is held in Los Angeles or San Diego. There are usually a lot of industry people there who when they are not watching films or participating in lectures, are partying.

I personally do not consider working with any one company a goal of mine, but prefer to think of the projects I take on in terms of what story or field I am promoting and what audience I am influencing. "Rapunzel Unbraided" will be very different from "Cars", and yet both of these films will be coming from Disney/Pixar, which only recently came back together.

By the way, say Hi to Vibeke, if she's teaching you, for me (Sandra). She was my pre-thesis teacher at one time.

I think being an animator would be fun :) But first you need to attend some sort of art school, and probably a technology school (like the International Academy of Design and Technology: http://www.iadt.ca/ ).

There's a section of the Pixar website (http://www.pixar.com/companyinfo/index.html ) that should be quite useful to you. If you want interviews with Pixar employees, you can probably just Google it or look in the special features of any Pixar-animated DVD.

I think it would awesome to work for Pixar!!! I doubt I would be able to, but I've always thought it would be an awesome career! I'm a pretty good artist. Maybe I'll look into it.

It appears like that particular hadith is saying that you're going to grow to be a god to what you've created, akin to the way god created mankind by respiration existence into Adam. no longer certain if that's a great difficulty or a foul difficulty in Islamic idea although.
