Is the statement true, "one fascist for another". I just can't understand why they would rather blame America for everything instead of standing up to the enemy.

Because the alternative is not good. Endless killing will not solve the problem. If we can, we must find a way to gradually take away the reasons they hate us so much.
re: going into Iraq, that has nothing to do with it.
Much of this has been around for years-- PLO and Israel (and our siding with Israel all the time and not getting a solution).
Having bases in Saudi during Gulf war I-- that's what got OBL bent with us in the first place.

I know few liberal that know a lot about the history of extreme muslim thought/ action (and I live in 'their' capital). With out a broad/realistic view on the history of things I suppose many of them come-up with idealistic ways to deal with them. Granted I don't think we should just bomb everything and hopefully hit the target among many....
Violence should be the last option, although when one country is attacked, it's the government's responsibility to neutralize the enemy (and that may involve civilians casualties--even more so in the middle east). Although this problem is far more than a middle east issue, and if conservatives took half their time just posting objective historical information on democrat sites (ie forums), then the tide of idealism may conform to a more realistic approach.

What enemy. If America had a proper foreign policy and also did not invade Iraq, it would have very few enemies.
Think about it, why do most people in other countries like France or Europe in General and not America?
America clearly uses the wrong approach thinking that things can be done with force and coercion or bribes.

Two reasons. One, they hate George Bush with an irrational, unfounded, mouth-foaming, eye-twitching passion.
Two, liberals' top emotion is guilt. They feel bad that we have such prosperity. So they compensate by hating America and blaming America for everything. Liberals have become the ultimate champion of all underdogs; violent Islamo-fascists, serial killers, illegal aliens, baby killers, serial rapists. Liberals love underdogs and deviant behavior. It's the norms that they hate - America, marriage, morality, laws, Christians.

because America IS the enemy right now, we came in and took over their country because bush lied and said they had WMD's so he could get oil from Iraq. we deposed what THEY saw as their leader but what the rest of the world saw as a truly evil man. now they see bush as a truly evil man, along with a good portion of the world's population. and we want peace because its better than innocent people dying.

Democrats have steadily lost power over the past three decades, due to the hijacking of that party by sickos, weirdos, deviants, degenerates, dregs who would sell out their country over politics.
