Next year will be the fortieth anniversary since the Leafs last won the cup in 1967. I don't think anyone would have thought that the leafs drought could ever last this long. I've just decided to enjoy leafs games, but not expect anything from them - just hope...

Chances are we will win, but who knows when?

I have been a Leafs fan since 1968 (one year too late for their last Stanley Cup win) and with the lack of top prospects in their organization, they will not win in the forseeable future. The forwards are too slow and ineffective for the new NHL.

Based on their recent signings... no. They decided to go the oposite direction the leauge is going and signed slow players... Plus they are in the same division as the Buffalo Sabres and Ottawa.. they don't have a chance in hell of reaching the top of that division let alone win the cup...

If Baghdad freezes over. No way. I think it'll be another upset year. I'd like to say the Avalanche will win, but they and the Red Wings are shifting gears for the new NHL.

The Ducks may be an upset.

Not a chance. It is going to take them several years to rebuild the team to compete in the 'new hockey'. They have finally taken a step in the right direction by starting to shed some of their veterans and bring in younger players, but it will take several years to complete the transition.

yes yes yes ... my bold prediction is we are going 82-0 this year.

Right now we're on our longest unbeaten streak of the season.
