My sister has a large wart on her leg, and we have no clue how 2 get rid of it other than 2 have it nitrogen shot. It isnt a planters wart, but do u have 2 treat it differently? Plz only answer if u have some helpful info. thnx

Warts are caused by a virus. You're right when you said it wasn'ta a planters wart, they only grow on the sole of the feet and toes. The only way is to freeze it, burn it, or to have it cut out. Usually a large wart would hurt too much for the nitrous, so I'm sure the doctor will give her some shots around the area to make it numb, then gently cut it out. Once it's removed, she'll feel better about it. Best of luck to you.

May have to go to the doc. If OTC drugs don't work after using as directed, or if it gets worse while she is using the OTC drugs, go see a doc. Make sure you read the label on the box to make sure it treats the kind of wart she has. Dr. Scholl's makes Clear Away Invisible Strips that are like band aids. Worked for me. Kinda expensive though. Hope this helps.

I had a wart on my finger for years. I tried everything, still came back. Until, the doctor cut it open sprayed it with liquid nitrogen. wart free for 10 years now

You can use over the counter salicycic acid. Other options include going to a doctor. Please see the attached brochure on warts and what causes them.

alternative theray-- twice daily you should apply a mixture of garlic oil, vitamin E oil, castor oil, and vitamin A with a drop of zinc oxide cream, cover wellk after each application and repeat for 10 days
