10+ years given the logistics involved. Unless they can steal or otherwise buy the technology, they don't have a prayer in the next decade at a minimum. North Korea, for all of their work and the stolen loral space technology in the early 90's, still has yet to produce a missile capable of hitting the US (last test was unsuccessful).

Nobody else save the old soviet republics has anything remotely close - and those old ss type missiles would most likely self destruct on launch if they tried it...

If they can get a submarine that has launch capability and doesn't get whacked by us, 2-3 years. land based missles? considering our defenses 50+.

Never because every action has reaction and in Iran they know that for sure, that is why I think what Iran is doing is to defend its self from Israel not from superpower like USA.
