I just got out of the exact same situation. But it was with a girl of course. I wanted to hurt her (feelings) and just move on. Little did I know, I of course loved her too and it hurt me more when I hurt her. Don't use your anger to solve this. I'm sure he did something terrible but let your happiness take care of this one.

These things take time. By hurting him, you trying to express your hurt and ultimately, is simply going to result in you feeling worse about yourself and the situation. It's best to accept the pain, mourn you loss, and know that you will get over him. Chalk this up as a learning experience and give yourself the time to let go.

Its hard. Trust me. I had a rough time but, I got to the point where I realized that I deserve better. So do you. Get yourself back out there and take it slow. Yes it will be hard at first but, in time you will be happier than ever.
