I have to do these questions, and i just want to verify my answers.
I would appresiate if if you gave which formula you used, but answers are fine.

An airplane is moving horizontally with a constant velocity of 115m/s at an sltitude of 1050 m releases a rescue package. a) Find the time required for the package to hi the ground b) how far horizontally from the release point does the package hit the ground

A ball is thrown horizontally from the top of a building 15m high. The ball strikes the ground at a point 24 m from the base of the building. Find intitial velocity of the ball

A car moving at 55 mi/h to the right experiences an acceleration of 2.4 m/s^2 to the left. Find distance traveled by the car in 3 seconds

Two subway stops are seperated by 1100m. If a subway train accelerates at 1.3m/s^2 from rest the first half of the distance and decelerates at -1.1m/s^2 through the second half, what are its travel time and its maximum speed

Thanks

1.s=1/2gt^2 and substituting 1050=1/2*9.8*t^2 =>t^2=2100/9.8
t=(2100/9.8)^1/2
the distance travelled horizontally=115(2100/9.8)^1/2
2.velocity=dist*time =>24*time and time=(2*15/9.8)^1/2
4.550=1/2*(1.3)T1^2 and 550=(1.3T1)T2+1/2*1.1*T2^2

Sorry there boss, it doesn't look like many of us want to reminisce physics class.

If you are really hoping to get some help you may want to try posting your problem on a physics specific website. I tried to find one that would work for you but wasn't able to locate one. I did however see that there are a lot of physics sites listed on Yahoo and Google.

Good luck!

the galaxies rotate at speeds inconsistent with their obvious mass is using the fact we do see all of it. i'm relating it as being the theoretical darkish count. There are very good proofs that shows that darkish count exist. One the is the inconsistent velocity of and obvious mass. darkish count makes up approximately seventy 5% to 80% of the undertaking interior the Universe...
