we could not marry because of opposition from both families. I didnt object to him getting married to the girl of his family;s choice which he did very relucatantly. it is almost 1 year now. the problem is that still I cant forget him and dont feel like marrying another person.He is the perfect gentleman I have ever seen. We still talk over the phone as friends, but neither me nor he mentions about the past. Im in a terrible emotional depression now. Can any1 help me

I truly understand and it is hard for you to just jump into something else. It takes about half the time you were together to get over a person. What you can do is start goning out do not spend so much time talking to him because that is just ruining the healing time.

First, stop talking to the guy. It's like scratching a scab and will never heal. If you're a doctor, why not find something meaningful to do with your free time like volunteer at clinics. Get your mind off of the one who got away. Get an antidepressant. you're sort of young to be a doctor anyway....like no one noticed.

You need to go see a counselor! Why would you let your family choose who you marry...that isn't right.you should be aloud to marry who you chose.
