Somewhere pretty central so we can find good nightlife and places to eat / shop.
A place with good security and that's about it.

City Lodge hostel is a new hostel, opened in May 2004.
It is the most central hostel in Stockholm, just 5 minutes walk from the Central railway and main bus station. Right in the very heart of Stockholm.
This gives you access to all that the city has on offer and still having a peaceful place to stay.
Check-in mon-fri 9- 21:30 sat-sun 9-12, 14-19.
***Please note: You can only arrive until 21:30 o'clock weekdays and until 19:00 o'clock on weekends!!***
After check-in you have access to the hostel 24 hours.
City Lodge is a small and very friendly hostel with only 64 beds. Showers and toilets in the corridor. You can prepare your own breakfast or lunch in our kitchen.
We also offer our guests FREE USE OF INTERNET and CABLE-TV.
We want to keep our hostel nice and clean, so use of bed linen is compulsary. Use your own or rent from us.
Duvets and pillows are provided.
You can use lockers free of charge. Bring your own padlock or buy one from us.
City Lodge Stockholm is open all year.

City Lodge Stockholm is a very cozy hostel, with an excellent location at a 10 minute walk from Stockholm main railway station. The premises are pretty small and the owner is planning an expansion. It comprises a small reception and a basement where the lobby, rooms, a kitchen, laundry, toilets, and showers are located. There are not many rooms in the hostel so rooms are a little crowded with dorms.
The hostel is very well cleaned and kept and offers free internet, which is a great advantage. There is a TV set with cable in the lobby. Linen and towels are available at a cost and the kitchen only has one microwave for cooking. Breakfast is not offered.
The staff are simply adorable. They will do anything to make sure you are satisfied. Also, they have a curious practice that is not to allow people to enter the hostel with their shoes. Everybody has to take off shoes upon entrance. Security is a permanent concern and the front door and reception door are both locked at night with electronic seals that only open upon submittance of a PIN number which is given to you upon registration.
