i have just gone cold turkey without internet for a week and i never realised until now how time i spend on it...most of the time, i just sit and chat to friends online - that makes me so sad!
just want to know, who else uses the internet a lot and how would you feel if you had to give it up for a week?
finally my challenge is over and i can use the internet again yay!

I use the internet for at least 8 hrs evreyday and even when I'm in school i'll be on from the time i'm home until at leat 10 or 11!
I am addicted to the internet rally bad, i don't think I could last a week without it.

No way I couldn't give it up!!! I went on holiday for a week and where I was staying there was no Internet access so I was in the local library on their computers nearly every day and when my time was up there my next stop was the Internet cafe. I just have to go on the Internet a week without it would probably drive me mad.

I gave it up for lent (40 days without the internet) and I realized how much time I spend on the computer now I try to spend my time on a minimum so i can do other things more important like playing with my 2 year old son or cleaning the house.

I'm going on holiday for a week and made sure the hotel had internet use, how sad is that?

Well, I'm a graphic designer, and I think I would have to charge ALOT more for my services considering that the internet makes me send designs faster. I'd have to drive to have clients look at their designs, making them pay for gas (which already cost a sh*tload). Good question, I think most of us would be more intellectual and more in shape. It would cause us to go back to reading books, magazines, and newspapers for news, we'd go outside and have more time with our kids and to do physical stuff, and we'd also watch more TV. Musicians would be able to sell more CDs, there won't be any more bootleg DVDs, cuz you wouldn't be able to download them....
I think the universe would crumble!
