I think I may have a blown head gasket on my 1993 Isuzu pickup.

What ballpark figure am I looking at to have it repaired?

About 1000 dollars....

Most of the time, in addition to disassembly, new gasket, reassembly, the following needs to be done.

1) skim cut the head so that it is completely flat
2) new valve, valve stem seal

and while you are at it, replace timing chain/belt, water pump, etc, etc, etc. You can decline all additional work, but then for 13 year old engine, the cost of new headgasket may not justify half-way doing such a major work.

Depending on the mileage on your truck, it may not worth doing it.

You will be lucky if it hasnt damaged the cylinder head. If it has as they usually do then you are talking a hell of a lot more
