farkas419, I didn't yell, or call names. That was you. However, if you think that deficit spending doesn't cost us anything, you are incorrect. That's where inflation comes from, and I don't think our dollar, as weak as it is, can stand up to it. I definitely don't think that war is worth jeopardizing our position in the global economy, anymore than it has. Now, see? I guess I'm more conservative than you assumed.

I think we should cut off all foreign aid, to every country...Cut it to zero, even to Israel. Saying that, I believe Israel is being attacked unjustly.

Yes, you will need a second job to maintain your standard of living. Economic catastrophe is right around the corner.

I'm with Jack F on this one. It's too bad that people (both Democrats AND Republicans) seem to be too blind to see the real issue at hand. Instead, they do as you have done, and insult people for their political persuasion. Tell me, does insulting them, insinuating that they're warmongers, does that help you sleep at night?
I hate to tell you this, but you're not even paying for THIS war. Everyone talks about "the war in Iraq costs this and that, blah blah blah", and if you try to tell them, "Hey, the US has got great credit, and there is no limit to how long it takes to pay off a deficit...and besides, some country will borrow from us in the near future, or give us money that they owe us. The entire WORLD is in debt from every war since the beginning of time, so..."
And I guess now maybe you'll call me an idiot. Or tell me I'm a narrow-minded warmonger. I'll tell you what (sorry for shouting but...): NO ONE LIKES WAR, not unless they're nuts.
So the Republicans aren't starting the wars. Everyone is.

Israel can handle its own war. Dont get ur panties in a wad. But war is expensive, and if Iran gets nasty we may be forced into that issue. Get ready for higher gas prices.

Don't blame republicans, blame Islam. They are the ones on the attack around the world. They attacked India. They attacked Israel. They attack each other in Iran. They attack Philippines and Thailand. They attack africans in the Sudan. They attacked London and Bali.

You focus on Bush and the republicans so much, but why do you not see what the muslims are doing on a large scale. They are in your face, are you so blind you cannot see?

You mean you are not already working a second job to pay taxes to support the following programs:
State paid sex-change operation and hormone treatments to inmates
In-state tuition to ILLEGAL immigrants, but out of state tuition to legal citizens

$750,000 for multiflora rose control-Robert Byrd (D-W.Va.)
$180,000 for turfgrass research -Robert Byrd (D-W.Va.)

$365,000 added by the Senate for the Center for Rural Studies in the state of Senate appropriator Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.). According to USDA testimony, “The original goal was to create a database and analytical capability for rural development programming in Vermont.” However, USDA also testified that, “No formal evaluation of this project has been conducted.” Oops! Since 1992, $2 million has been appropriated for this research.

$100,327,000, a 56 percent increase from fiscal year 2005, for projects in the state of Senate Energy and Water Appropriations Subcommittee member Mary Landrieu (D-La.) - yet, still no good levees

$5,000,000 added by the Senate to complete the increasingly bloated Capitol Visitor Center (CVC). Since construction began in fall 2001, Congress has continued to pour funding into this monument to excess and waste. The cost has risen from $265 million to at least $584 million and is running two years behind schedule.

just a few to ponder

No I don't think you need to get another job. I think President Bush will let Israel take care of the situation. They don't have a history of bending their knee to the UN or appeasing terrorists.

Israel is a soverign nation that can take care of themselves. Our economy will sustain itself. Maybe it will get a boost since we can sell warfare technology to the good guys.

im about damned tired of people complaining about the war. if you want to let people walk all over your country and bomb you whenever the hell you want and not take a stand then maybe all you people should start your own country, then watch it crumble because you let everyone take advantage of you and all you did was sit there and look like a pus cause you dont like war.

I have an idea. Carry through with your appeasement and get on your knees for the terrorists! Man, you liberals really are coming around! Just as stupid and delusional as ever.

My suggestion is to find a few jobs....the war could (depending if the U.S wants to get militarily involved) last for many years.
