On yahoo spades how do u use "kibitz" and what is it?

kibitzing is when a non player watch the action, the players have an option of Turing kibitz off so you might not be able to do it, to kibitz you to join a game in progress and click on the kibitz button, usually used to learn how to play the game.

Kibitz means to watch. It also means mindless chatter and unsolicited advice. Not sure how to use it.
