preferably in pyrex. i have searched a bit and onyl came across science websites with tiny diameters, mostly under 1". im looking for a pyrex 10" diamater tube 24" long preferably. Anyone know any online sources, with prices? thanks!

Eight *inches*?? Wow, I think that'd be a custom order, for sure. You're not looking for tubing, you're looking for pipes, and big ones at that. I'm not sure you could get anything that large in glass or pyrex - it'd have to be very very thick to withstand any kind of pressure from the contents. You might try other clear materials (maybe polycarbonate?) if what you want is a pipe you can see through. If you need the pyrex to contain something hot, I'd suggest you look into stainless steel piping that's lined with pyrex. That won't be clear, but it will be strong and able to handle hot liquids.

Try a neon sign shop, you can get clear 4' tubes n 8,10 evn 15mm. don't think its pyrex though but you can cut it to length using a file to score a little line then just pull....
