What happens at the end of Silence of the Lambs and how does the story connect with Hannibal

No-first is Red Dragon-then comesSilence of the Lambs and then Hannibal-in the end of Silence of the Lambs Hannibal sets out to eat his tormentor the Dr who ran the psych prison he was staying at-the slimy Dr. Frederick Chilton.
Note: Red Dragon was the first book written in this series and was made into a movie inthe early 80's called Manhunter-starred Brian Cox as Hannibal Lechter.

You can read any of them on their own, but Red Dragon is the first chronologically, Silence of the Lambs is the second and Hannibal is a follow-up to Silence.

Well, Jodie Foster's character was able to find the very killer she's been searching for, but Hannibal Lecter managed to escape at the end of Silence of The Lambs. In Hannibal, Foster's character continues her search for Lecter while Lecter himself is being hunted by one of his victims.
Red Dragon is a prequel to Silence of The Lambs and begins a few years before the first movie.

I think Red Dragon was supposed to be before he met Clarise. When Silence ends, Hannibal is walking around some island town. In Hannibal, he makes contact with her again.

Silence of the Lambs is an awesome classic. I home TNT doesn't cut out scenes. Hannibal is also good, but not as good as Silence.

Silence of the lamb comes before Hannibal.
Jodie Foster's character becomes Juliane Moore's character.
Hannibal has escaped from the prison he was placed in because of all the good deeds he has done while in prison and the first thing he wants to to is give her a call.
It is odd because in Manhunter you learn that she is not even the person who put him in prison. Of Course in Man Hunter he tries to kill that agent from inside prison.
In Hannibal, he is trying to hide in Europe. She is trying to find him. One of his victims is trying to find him too. She becomes bait. He wind up killing his victim and eventually he decides she has had enough. She is his Holmes to his Moriarty. He wants her to live.
Red Dragon is a remake of Manhunter with Anthony Hopkins in the role he turned down the first time around.

Will Graham was played by Ed Norton in Red Dragon and William Peterson(Grissom-CSI) in Manhunter.
