It seems like what comes out of their mouth is totally absurd, and opposite to the truth. So, when a liberal calls me a fascist, I welcome it. It means that I'm a patriot, that I respect the flag, and I know that freedom isn't free.

If they call you names, just do as I learned to do when developing my critical thinking skills as a child, and consider the source. If they have to resort to name-calling, it implies that they're out of intellectual ammo.
Neddie: Still haven't figured out what a fiscal conservative is, huh? I'm guessing you read or heard the term somewhere and thought it sounded cool. Do yourself a favor and look it up before you use it again - you're making yourself look even more foolish than you really are.
