First you need to make sure they are flying ants and not termites. In either case, they themselves are harmless. they are released to try to establish a new colony. You need to find the location where they emerged from. If they are ants, try baiting to kill the queens (gel baits are the best), spray only as necessary with a pyrethrin based spray. DO NOT USE RAID, it only repels contrary to their claims. If it is termites, hire a professional.
The key to ant erradication is identification. Crush the ant, if it smells like a sickning sweet smell, odorous house ants, baits work best. Citronella smell, citronella ants, live under concrete slabs and generally don't need treatment because they rarely emerge into the house. Carpenter Ants are larger ants, look for water damage around roof, windows doors, if you see them entering treat by injecting dust or aerosol spray.

Make sure first that they are not termites, which feed on the wooden components of your house and can cause structural damage. Flying ants look like regular ants except with wings--their bodies are segmented like regular ants. The bodies of termites, on the other hand, are a single continuous unit and not segmented. Either way, you should have a pest control expert check out your infestation.

Now I can't find a link 2 back up this up.
But they will only doing this flying bugging the hell outta U for 48 hours & no more.
If U can bear it shut the windows, plug the gaps & they should have stopped by the time U need 2 venture outside again.
Find if U can, the Hole that they Vacated & plug that up permanatly so they won't come back.
Ensure there R no other holes available B4 they attempt 2 use that as a new home.

I had luck with a product made by "Adams." You can find it in pet stores. It's a spray and it kills fleas, ticks, spiders, ants, mosquitoes, etc... You could try using flea bombs, but those are dangerous and you have to leave the house for an hour after you set them off. A lot of people use them for different household pests

The "flying ants" are termites. You'll need to either call a bug service (if you want a guarantee going forward) or make a trip to Home Depot or Lowes to get termite repellant and killer.
