You can't stop some people from thinking it's "weird" that your sister plays with dolls at almost any age because of their preconceived notions about what is "normal" and their inherent biases. Your sister should not stop playing with things she enjoys because others deem it inappropriate for her age. It's really none of their business in the first place. Many people continue to collect and play with toys well into adulthood and they are still productive citizens who hold jobs, pay their bills and taxes, and find time for other hobbies or pursuits. Ultimately, your sister will begin to develop other interests as she grows older and she will probably play with her dolls less often. Nevertheless, no one need know that she still plays with dolls at your home and you should not betray that fact to other people. I oftentimes wish I didn't have the responsibilities of adulthood but I also appreciate the freedoms I enjoy as an adult. I'm also a kid at heart and I'm proud to say that I've kept virtually all the toys I had when I was young and I will occasionally buy new toys when I am so inclined to do so. Whatever other people think or feel about your sister's behavior is their problem not hers. As long as she's having fun and not hurting anyone else then they should keep their opinions to themselves.

Many people, especially women, collect dolls and do so throughout their lives. I don't think there is a time to set for anyone so inclined to stop playing with dolls.
Have to call them as I see them.

it depends, but i think that if you still want to play with them then go for it, too many people now a days worry about what everyone else will think and don't do anything for themselves.

Tell her not to worry about what other people think, when she feels ready, she'll move on to other things.
