Decades ago, a sword from the 6th century (time of King Arthur) was found in Pennsylvania. Written on the blade of this sword is the word "Colbrin" or "Korbrin" in ancient Nagef (language spoken in Middle East at the time of King Arthur). Could this lend proof to the existence of King Arthur? What do you think, could King Arthur have really existed?

I believe it's possible. Myths tend to be a combination of fact, fiction based on fact, and pure fiction so there is just as much possibilty of Excalibur being fact as there is fiction. Probability is a different story, though.

That's funny, because I asked the Lady of the Lake exactly the same thing last weekend...

But anyway, what would a sword found in the US, with writing written in A Middle Eastern language, have anything to do with a Welsh warlord? If it's anywhere it's at the bottom of a lake in Wales/England, and it wouldn't have a language that was completely unknown in that part of the world at that time on it.

There is evidence to suggest that there was a Welsh Warlord who held back the Saxons for a time and the myth could have been based on his acheivments. Some of the events in the legend are true, while others are beleived to be pinched from earlier celtic legends, and others are just embelishments and the result of poetic licence.

Yes king Arthur existed and so did his sword, but they were not magical, his quest for the holy grail was quite possible since there obviously WAS a cup christ drank out of, i do not believe the grail was magic either, magic is just a myth that occurs over years of storytelling about one great event. I also believe that King Arthur had the round table and the knights, but that that was a sort of medevil fraternaty type thing. In closing on this, King arthur was what he was, a king. a great one if i do say so my self whether or not excalibur existed isnt the case. its whether or not MERLIN existed is the real question.

Of course my King existed! The King was real. Whether he was actually royalty or not, or just a warlord, is still to be debated. But he was real. However, places such as Camelot probably did not exist.

The sword you are referring to has nothing to do with my King. Unless it had some version of "Arthur" on it, I don't believe it's relevant at all.

Sure it could be real. People try to say it isn't because they don't want you to believe that magic is real. Believe what you want. magic is real. Belief is not required.
