Depends on if you closed the session the first time. Multisession CD's allow you to append data after but the downside is that Multisession CD's aren't read by a lot of consumer products, and if you completely closed the session the first time you cannot add more data to the CD.
We're of course talking about CD's and not CD-RW. CD-RW you easily can rewrite data.

The initial burn firs of all MUST be done in multi-session mode.
The disk must NOT be CLOSED at the end of the session.
If you do this, you can keep adding to the CD either till it's full or till you close the disc (this means closing the multi-session, and has nothing to do with opening/closing the drive door itself)

You can't unless it's a re-writable CD or the CD was never finallized during the orginal burn.

If you have not closed the session and have space free you can. You can also do so with RW CDs and DVDs. Once you close the session it's done on CDr and DVDr.

If its a rewritable then yes...you have to un finalize it. If its a regular, only if you left the session open. If you finalized the disc then no you cannot.
