Is it true that when you cheat it comes back around to you. Like Karma I guess you would say? I have heard this and seen it happen to others, but not everyone I know that have cheated. I have always thought it was true but when I say that to people they think I'm joking. What do you think?

keeping something inside - like cheating, lying (ommission = a form of lying), stealing, etc. - taints the soul and corrupts consciousness.

that's why, it's usually just a matter of time before a person turns on him/herself - leaving evidence, confiding in someone, eating at a popular restaurant, etc.

or, eventually, the universe will "teach" you a lesson... and life's lessons don't come easy... ouch!

Look, forget about whatever the Bible, Torah or the Mormon's book says. We all cheat at least once in our life time, and we get cheated on at least once in our life time. It's not a matter of Karma, (in which I believe, don't get me wrong), or anything else, it's just the way human relations turn out sometimes. What you need to put in a balance are the reasons why you're thinking of cheating and the consequences that it might have in your present relationship. That's what you really have to worry about, not if it's going to come around on you some day. I hope this helps.

I like to think that somewhere and sometime the scales all balance out. That we have to pay for our wrongdoings and we are rewarded for our good deeds.

Remember though that the real definition for karma is a force that doesn't take effect until your next life. We in America sort of changed the meaning somewhat.

Sooner or later , one way or the other it does come back to you...and generally when you least expect it...why? because cheaters don't know how hurtful and damaging betrayal can be...so they must learn that lesson themselves....for some it isn't in the same form as they committed but other ways that hopefully makes them realize cheating is the wrong thing to do.

I think it all depends on your conscience. I totally believe in Karma but I have a guilty conscience. Some people could give a crap and those are the people that seem to get away with everything.

I think so. I'm a strong believer in karma. I think that people who cheat are inherently bad people and bad things happen to bad people.

I believe in Karma because it has slapped me in the face a couple times in my life. Plus if you're cheatin' with someone who is in on your cheatin' theres a pretty good chance hes a cheater too! Birds of a feather....
