The first summer I went to England (I suppose it was in 1972 or '73 this song was in the Top Ten and I liked it very much. The title is BEAUTIFUL BARBADOS and it was sung by a pop group called Typically Tropical, cute guys in colourful pants and jackets, as far as I can remember. I'd like to listen to this song again after so long, because it was kind of the sound track of my first summer in that beautiful country I love so much.
Can anyone tell me where I may find this song on th Internet, even a short clip of it. I tried myself, but there seem to be more songs with that same title, sung by other groups obviously and with completely different music, and could not sort things out. But it must exist sung by that pop group! Thank you.

fly away on the cocoanut airways, fly me high, barbados sky

whoa

whoa in de sunny carribean sea

whoa im goin to see my girlfriend ...sorry dont know any more, but i always wanted to go to Barbados

It's just called 'Barbados' and was a number 1 in 1975. Typically Tropical were a one-hit wonder who melted away into obscurity. It's on lots of compilation albums this side of the pond. Try putting that into any search engine, it should throw up some responses.
