I think you should let him do it first (it's proper, even for this day and age). I think you should see him in person if you insist on doing it......

You don't express yourself to someone over the phone you tell them how you really fell. It might be hard but have courage and that person will love you for who you are,but if that person doesn't then that person isn't your true love.Make sure your honest and if that person turns you down there will always someone there to pick your pieces and mend back your together.Life isn't a fairytale live it base on the path you choose for yourself.
