Why is it, which I find completely amazing, how one person can change a life? How one person can turn your entire world upside down and inside out, turn it on it's ear and make you question everything that you have set up to protect yourself from the evils and harshness of the world. How one person can pose such a simple idea and have that idea be earth shattering and ground breaking to you that you wonder if there is another way to live your life, or a new way to think about the reason why you hold on to what you hold on to, or the very lack there of. To make you question why you do what you do, why you think the way you think, and why you are as you are? And what is even more incredible than that is when you think that you are teaching them, they are teaching you. Why is that?

I appreciate your comments and questions, they're very astute. There is a notion in psychology known as the "looking glass self". The "looking glass self" is basically what you think other people think about you. When someone comes along who shatters that "looking glass self" by showing you what they see in you- and it's better than you ever imagined- it's a wonderful experience. Enjoy every minute of it :-)

If by any chance a thought was transmitted through different points being made at an accurate time. then most of us would figure out an alternative to change any fact that relys in becoming reality. In other words, to be impacted is not necessary to consider as being a way of a different movement towards an objection. Regularly, i would try to re arrange anything that has been presented only to figure out exactly how far everything goes. It's shattering only for an instant as for relief of understanding would be considered extraordinary. Pick out all the times you remember what someone has said an the recent thoughts normally create conflict.

The emptiest stomach cries the loudest, perhaps being lonely made you vulnerable or you met another intellectual that let you hear what you wanted to hear, but it's just like a con job or a good sales person, get you to look this way while all the time coming at you from another, it's a matter of whits and people often give away by words or deeds how to penetrate that inner safety zone..

Because you are open-minded. Close minded people are not bothered by "facts" or opinions......

Why is nothing harder than perception? What are you talking about? Just about everything is harder than perception! If I had to choose between getting hit with a rock or perception, I would choose perception every time!

Well.. was it Yoda who said "The answers are inside?"
To learn you must be willing to learn and to see you must first open your eyes. So though it is alway so great to meet someone who totally influences your life and opens your eyes and changes your world don't give them all the credit...you were on the way there yourself or you wouldn't have noticed when you found it.

Perception is a point of view- how you look at something. I find it just as amazing...

There is a quote I read somewhere- Once your consciousness expands it can never return to it's original size...

I second the motion! You are in love with someone that cannot be attained right now, due to distance.
