My computer is from the dark ages, running win 98 second edition... IPOD doesn't support 98, anyone know of any that use win98?

yes most of the non color screen mp3 players that creative offers are compaitble with 98 se the zen sleek and micro are nice m3 players

Yes but you should really consider upgrading your computer (or at least your version of Windows) before getting an MP3 player.

Given that Microsoft no longer supporting win98 with new updates, it is only a matter of time before some virus or trojan chews your hard drive up and spits it out, along with whatever digital music you were attempting to maintain on your MP3 player.

If your Win-98 has Windows Media Player, you can use a Creative brand MP3 player with it. I have Win 2K pro and a Creative Zen Micro

umm it's not so hard to upgrade OS's... but i do know that some minidisc players can run off 98.

try sandisk. one of those might work.
