if they have the money to support them..then im all for it! gay couples can raise straight kids just as a straight couple can raise a gay child.

Put aside society's lack of understanding towards same sex marriage, I say adopting a child is a wonderful thing. As long as both parents have thought about that faithful day when they have to explain to the child why they have two fathers or two mothers. I think kids raised in an open homosexual family will keep their minds wide open to anything in the future.

I was never taught that homosexuals were bad or good, my parents never mentioned sex until I started dating at 20yrs old. I was very deprived but have come into my own mindset, thank God. I think everyone is entitled to 'marry' anyone they love, regardless of religion, race and especially sex.

I think same sex marriages is fine. Kids should be fine too, its just the teasing of the kids im a little worried about. but if its a strong family, they can pull throught.

I love how the people against it don't say why. they just say "NO".

and come on people. how many times do we have to tell you. Its the way there born NOT a choice,

and and gay or lesbian couples are NOT going to teach or even encourrage gay relationships more than hetero-relationships.

i am happy tho to see so many people open to it.

Same sex marriages are FAR LESS DAMAGING TO CHILDREN than having parents who never marry or absent parents, or abusive parents, or alcoholic/druggie parents.

Before we start blaming gays and lesbians for the downfall of the American family, let's clean up the rest of these problems first and THEN see how many children are left who are traumatized by having two mommies or two daddies.

I don't believe that it's the best environment for children to live in because same sex marriages are not quit approved of socially, but everyone has a right to have children.

I think that it is completely ok. If two people love each other then why should it matter? I have family members who are gay and friends and I would never want their rights to be taken away because of who they love. It's not a choice, to be gay, no matter what people think. I think as long as children are going to a loving and safe home it shouldn't matter who their parents are. And being in a home where you have two gay parents doesn't make you any more likly to be gay, it only influences you to be a more accepting person in this world.

Gay marriage doesn't bother me, and if a gay couple can care for a child why shouldn't they be allowed to adopt? A good home is what's important.

in a time not very far it will have become quite acceptable and questions such as this will not exist...meanwhile I dont have any reasons to oppose same sex couples getting married or bringing up kids...so i am all for it..it could be tricky but then hetero couples dont find parenting very easy either.

I myself am not all for gay marrige. I thing god meant marrige to be beetween a man and a woman. I dont think it's right for gay people to adopt kids. It might give the kids and influence to be gay.

Disgusting and flat out WRONG! Those poor kids just might grow up thinking that lifestyle is okay. It's not!
