This may sound like an odd question but i'm trying to gauge if there might be a niche market for this product. I have the problem myself where I buy trousers because they fit my thighs but they end up being too big for my waist. I have to buy size 18 when my waist is only a 14 / 16. Anyone else have a similar problem?

You should buy the stretch pants.

Same here too lass. I end up buying a size bigger and a longer leg, so im never without a belt and have to take every pair up. I usually end up buying mens jeans and trousers. Nine times out of ten the garments that do fit are boring or made from nasty fabrics. Yes there is a niche and instead of making all super slim catwalk sizes some one could make a fortune catering for us normal women!!

Yes!! I was wearing size 16 as i put a bit of weight on, iv now lost the weight but iv lost more off my stomach than my thighs, so if i try on a 16 its too big around the waist and hips, perfect on the thighs, a 14 is too tight around the thighs but perfect on the wast!
Cant win!

I too have the same problem! In fact I had the delight of splitting the seam of my trousers at the thigh recently when I crouched down to look at some DVD's! Oh, joy - NOT! I really think that there would be a market for this sort of clothing. Good luck in any ventures!

Thighs, no, but I have dreadful trouble getting trousers that fit my waist and also my butt! LOL It's all very well wearing a belt to keep them up, but sometimes it's nice to just get a slinky line without a bulky belt at your waist. Why do the high street stores make trousers for pot-bellied giraffes and not for normal-sized womanly women like Marylin Monroe used to be...? *sigh*

oh yes, but try the gap curvy fit which comes in jeans and khakis, or levi (i think its called curvy line too) both have more room in the thighs and have stylish look. Also try clothing made toward the afro-american market, like Fubu, BabyPhat, AppleBottoms as they tend to have the fuller hipped woman in mind.

Yes, but most brands that carry a relaxed fit fix that problem. Also, there are the Brazilian jeans, too, which seem to work out ok for me.

No, I just buy a jeans or pants that have an eased fit through hips and thighs, that works for me.

Next do really good jeans I always get mine from there, you should buy boot cut jeans they are quite wide all the way down rather than regular fit or skinny leg jeans!
