My dial-up connection terminates a lot why? i got a v..92 modem by us robotics.?

I have vci.And im not getting cable til next month.

call waiting will frequently disconnect your dial-up so you should disable that.

also, if you have static on your phone line that can cause problems too. You will have to call your phone line provider to get that fixed.

Also a lot of dial-up connections like AOL will automatically disconnect you after an hour to prevent piracy.

And call waiting will kick off your connection.

if you have call waiting and don't disable it when connecting you can get disconnected.
