I think if you live close to family and friends, then it doesn't matter where you live. I was born and raised in PA, then lived in southern Indiana (go I.U.!) and now live outside of Dallas, TX. I love the climate of southern Indiana the best because even though they get snow, it isn't as bad as in the northeast and it isn't as hot as Texas. I have had the air conditioner running since March and have not had it off since then. Today we had just another day of temps in the 100s. As for the person who said it is less expensive to live in TX, they must not have lived outside of TX because I can think of many other places where the cost of living is less.

I think that depends on what you like to do.
I like family values,4 seasons and the benefits of a large city without the crime.
That's why I live in Ohio.
My daughter and son-in-law love to ski and the cold weather. They also love the outdoors. That's why they live in Minnesota.
You can go on from there.

I think Texas. Not only is it the biggest state, the weathers always nice, theres always something to do and the best part is it's probably cheaper than any other state.

Every place is different and everyone has their own opinion, so the answer would be either every place or no place.
