Pirates was a decent film that was ruined by all the non stop praise it recieved. The sequel is just bad, no interest in the third.

The critics hated it- so who knows- maybe it's great? I do know that I hate all the marketing for it. From the crappy mcDonalds toys (like a blow-up sword, and a skull magic 8ball thing that scared my 4-year old senseless when she saw it. "I Skeered mommmy!!!"), to the stupid aquarium accessories I saw at Walmart last night! And lets not forget the M&M's!! Total marketing/flooding overkill for what is probably a stupid movie. It's not exactly what I want my 4, 7, and 9 year olds to WANT to see!

It was a perfectly silly movie, but Johnny Depp's Captain Jack character carries it. And the scenery is terrific. Come on...how can you not like a pirate movie?

Its good if you like Edward Scissorhands prentending to be Keith Richards in a pirate suit.

I really don't know if its a good movie or not. I've just NEVER had any desire to watch a movie about some pirates.

MMMMEEEEE!! sorry about that, just wanted to answer it like the little girls that answer questions like "who like pirates 2?" yeah, im sick of it and it wasnt that great, i wish i could gain the 2 1/2 hours of my life back!

I hated the first one and I don't even want to see the second! My boyfriend is the only reason why I have seen it and unfortunately, he wants to see the sequal. BLAH!

the first one became sturdy...the 2d one, properly, its all optimal as a lot because the third action picture...yet certain, it would want to were more desirable!!!!!!!!! besides the undeniable fact that it became nevertheless an highly sturdy action picture, exceedingly for a sequal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
