The use of the cyclops system (or whatever it's called) and allow players limited opportunities to challenge calls ? How in your opinion would it impove or damage the game?

The "cyclops" type technology is good, and I think that it's good for the game. But I don't see why the technology can't evolve further to provide the umpire with near real time feedback on all calls. Eventually we may even have the technology to automate line calls, to have a "cyclops" type alarm go off when a ball lnads outside of the court.

Anyway, with what we have today, I think that allowing a limited number of challenges is the way to go, but the umpire should be free to review any call that they are uncertain of - thus hopefully avoiding a situation where a player has run out of challenges and there's a bad call late in a match.

I think the technology itself (cyclops, shot spot, hawkeye, etc) is fine, but I hate how it's being implemented. The limited opportunities thing is going to screw someone at some point. If a chair ref has an issue deciding, he can use the technology to clear things up.

It's not the cyclops system that they are developing. The association is perfecting the imaging system you're seeing prototyped during broadcasts. This application is far superior to that of the sensory system currently being used. And, will solve issues much faster.

I would be in favor if all players in the tournament had access to it. As I understand it, only the show courts will have the system set up. Everyone else playing on the other courts won't be affected.
It just seems a little silly that only some matches in the tournament will have it and others won't. Of course, I'd change my opinion in heartbeat if it starts to attract more fans to tennis and they began to broadcast more matches on television!

Considering that players used to play without it, I don't think that it is needed. since they have it, I don't see why they can't let players use it whenever they need it. It can make the game boring. Having the players keep challenging the call will make it boring.

It would take forever to play a match. I watched one match where they did it and the calls were right. Then at Wimbledon I think sometimes they should've had that right. One call was wrong on match point.
