Many Olympians...
Edmonton is a much better team historically however. And with the departure of Pronger... I don't like Lupul... I hope he does well for Oilers but doubt.

Overall throughout history the oilers of course arfe the better team, look the cups and the hall of famers. This year it can go either way, they do look better on paper, but that was the case last year and they were knocked out in the first round. I think the oilers are more balanced team, who play with more heart. The most boring teams in the leauge to watch or the wild and the flames, the two most exciting are the oilers and sabers.

Define better. On paper, the Flames are the better team. However, the Oilers have always had heart. For the past decade, they have been the proverbial underdog, consistently upsetting the favorites in the Western conference. If Edmonton can take advantage of the massive package that they received for Chris Pronger, they will be a force in a couple of years. That trade reminded me of the Ricky Williams trade to New Orleans in the NFL draft. Anaheim gave up way too much...

before each and everything - each and each and every of the those who stated different communities and went into heavy ingredient on it close up the question became who's larger calgary or edmonton and my ansewer the calgary are the better era. ideal goalie contained in the leauge and protection that when are on there accurate sport ought to get a close out each and every sport and with pickups like taunguy and freezer they have an effective probability and Lord Stanley... the edmonton ruin on the different hand don't have any defence except for rollie yet he wont be an similar after his knee probs. the offence is reallly soild yet dropping %. became a lack of a pacesetter on that squad. the reality of the remember is that the crew should be good if the aquired a pair D-adult males even as being waiting to keep the workplace they have 06/07 prediction flames lose in confrence finals and oilers dont make playoffs

This past season I think the Oilers had the better team - but now with losing so many or about to - the Flames signed Tanguay - its a tough call - depends what the grinders for each team do this coming season!

On paper the Flames have the better team for this coming season but, we all know the Oilers made it the farthest in the playoffs beating Detroit, Anaheim and San Jose.
So, on paper it doesn't mean much to have the "better" team. Everything will be determined on the ice.

Looking at the rosters the Flames are the better of the two teams.
All-time, no question the Oilers are the better team though.

The Flames as of now. The Oilers have lost a good chunk of their team in the offseason and will be hard pressed to make the playoffs next year.
