You should be fine giving him Infant Tylenol. But be sure you have the correct dosing information. Get your son's current weight and call the doc to verify. As they get bigger, the dosages increase (and it's not just from the .8 to the 1.6 on the bottle) So he may not be getting enough to fully relieve the pain anymore. In the mean time, frozen wash cloths work wonders on teething gums!

yes, anyone could build a tolerence to medication. after a while if you use something constantly, your body starts to react different to it. same with babies. giving him tylenol for teeth all the time instead of orajel can cause him to be tolerant to tylenot when he has a fever and needs the tylenol. just be careful on the doses and usage.

Do NOT exceed the recommend dosage, no matter what!!! Tylenol overdose is toxic, and can kill your baby. Especially be accurate with infant's tylenol, as it is more concentrated than other types. It will cause liver failure in your baby.

Yes they can and very quickly too. I don't doubt that now your going crazy b/c he wont stop wailing in pain. Go try baby anbesol or let him chew on a cold wash cloth(my daughter loved that). Also try putting his teethers in the freezer, when you give them to him, it will ease the pain. Stop giving him so much tylenol.

yes he came become tolerant to it. How old is he? If he is 6 months or older Motrin will work better for teething, but he can become tolerant to it too. They also make these tablets you can get at wal-mart called teething tablet. They dissolve in babies mouth and it seems to help my baby. Good luck!!

Yes they can. Any medicine given to a baby will build a tolerance for it if it's given on a normal basis, usually after a couple days.

Yes, they can. A better healthier alternative is herbal teething drops or tablets available in the health food section of your local store or a health food store.
