only go solo when the band declines. never quit while the group is ahead,, it dooms your soo career as always being "after the band.." first let the band start to suck, then you say somthing like "hey we had a good run, but nobody likes us anymore. all you guys are crackheads by now and you should check into rehab before your heart stops beating onstage during your 12 minute drum/bass solo.. which nobody liked either. what they did ilke was my awsome guitar shreddingness. yeah thats right im going solo, breaking away from this crapfest and stargin somthing myself.. my lawyers will be contacting you shortly to discuss the rights to our previous crap.. later.." and then sling the guitar over your back and grab a few things from the studio on the way out.

Well, if you are not getting along with them and you feel you could find a better band to join then go ahead and quit.

Why, are you holding them back? If it isn't fun anymore, and isn't going anywhere, then sure, quit the band.

Yes. Your chances of becoming a rock star are microscopic. And even if you do get what you want, it isn't what you want anymore.

it depends on how they treat you buisness wise and personelly if you can hardly hear you in a song ask for a solo but i do need some more info
