There are tons of MMORPGs out there, but there aren't any virtual reality ones that kill people.

As in MMORPG....there are tons.
World of Warcraft is the #1 right now.
Also
do a google search for 'MMORPG'
there are many out there.
As for identical to that theme of .hack// well....no one has one yet.
Keep asking game makers about it and maybe someone will make it.
