I also failed to mention that the people accused of missdeeds were removed and drummed out of the Military. Nazi terror was state sponsored.

on a level the comparison is valid. the Nazis would scoop up Jews and take them to undisclosed locations. GWB openly admitted that is the same tactic we used with the gitmo detainees. he even created a class, enemy combatants, to allow him to ignore the Geneva convention. Are you aware that many of those enemy combatants from Afghanistan were handed over to us by Afghans for a bounty? I'm sure we got some terrorists but I'm sure we got some poor smucks that were brutally taken by their own countrymen in exchange for US dollars. If we deny them a fair trial then some will still get what's coming to them but others will be victimized by the process. I keep hearing how these are the worst of the worst, if so then there must be a copious amount of evidence against them, enough to convict without disclosing government secrets (personally, that sounds like a smoke screen tactic to by-pass revealing that some innocent people have been unjustly detained without anyone knowing where they are).
We are lead to believe ALL those at gitmo are demons. didn't hitler demonize the jews to get what he wanted too?

I've seen you ask reasonable questions before and give reasonable answers. Why, recently, have you only asked questions that are nothing but generalizations disguised as questions.
All you're doing is pissing people off and then asking why they're pissed off.
If you really want to know motivations, reframe your questions to say something like: Why do some people compare Gitmo to Nazi camps?
I know no one in real life who has ever made such comparisons. I think it's an embarrassment to the US to run a prison that goes against the Geneva Conventions, but that doesn't make it a Nazi death camp. I don't think the US does itself any favors by behaving like the enemy we're trying to destroy.
