i have been noticing some clear/white fluid coming from the vaginal area lately... is this bad?

Hi,
Nope this is normal. Its called "cervical mucus" or vaginal discharge". Every day your have some kind of CM (cervical mucus) and it occurs before and after your period, when you have a yeast infection, during ovulation and during pregnancy. So its very normal and nothing to worry about.
Only worry about it if the discharge becomes smelly, or it burns upon urination or it changes colour to a yellow, green or even brown discharge. Otherwise, everything is normal. :-)

That depends. If it has a bad smell to it, or maybe its yellow, then you could have an infection. If it has the look of cottage cheese then you might have a yeast infection.
Just keep in mind that to have a clear discharge is considered healthy. Its your body keeping things moist and protected from any irritatants.
If it starts to itch, burn, turns red then you should consult your doctor.

unless you have pain, or bad oder it is cervical mucus...it is a lubricant and also indicates that you are firtile...durring sex the mucus acts as a "path" for the little swimmers to take to firtilize an egg. The sperm cannot travel without it.

you could just be ovulating. If it has a strange smell or theres any itching of discomfort you should see your doc asap.
