If you can how is it possible? because isn't your egg that was in you being washed out of you? or is there an egg right behind it so that way we can still get pregnant if we have intercourse during our period.

I only had sex toward the end of my period, but I was still on my period. I don't think I'm pregnant, but I'm just curious if it can happen.

By the time your period starts the egg has been out of your body for about a week. You ovulate 14 days after the 1st day of your period. Sperm can live for a few days inside your body like 3 I think. If your period is normally on time then you should be able to figure out if it's even possible for you to be pregnant. There is only about a 3 day window when you are fertile, that is IF your body goes by the book. Studies have proved that some women ovulate more than once in a cycle and sexual activity can contribute to that as well as the weird effects that women have on each others' cycles.

You can't actually conceive during your period because you will not be ovulating then. What can happen is if you have sex on one of the last days of your cycle and the sperm survive long enough to meet up with an egg should you happen to ovulate very early, then you could get pregnant. This only very rarely occurs, however. That being said, sex during a period that results in pregnancy will have no effect on the period itself.

NO! You cannot get pregnant during your period, You do not Ovulate till 7-10 days after the start of your period, and your prime time to get pregnant is the 14 days after that, once the unfertilized ovum is embedded in the wall of your uterus, it will remain for about 7 days, then the cycle start over again. If the ovum is fertilized, it will top the cycle, and u will know it in about 6 weeks, when u have missed your period that u are pregnant, u can get further details from doctor, or read a book on the Anatomy of human reproduction.

Well, anything IS possible. Usually a woman ovulates half way between her cycle. Every month when a woman ovulates her body prepares for pregnancy. Extra blood would be needed to support the baby so extra blood is there. If the egg is not fertilized within 3 days after ovulation (sperm can remain alive in woman's body for about 2 days), then the extra blood comes out which is the woman's period. Usually it is about 2 weeks before ovulation occurs again. Although anything can happen. ....usually there is only 5-7 days a month that a woman can get pregnant.

You can get pregnant at anytime during your cycle. Women have unpredictable cycles and sperm can live inside your body for up to three days. It is a well known fact that women who live together tend to get their periods at the same time. A woman's cycle is constantly adjusting to the environment. While it probably is less likely to get pregnant if you have sex during your period, I wouldn't count on it.

Ovulation can occur at any time during your cycle. If you ovulate directly before or during your period, then yes, you can get pregnant then.

If you are going to have sex and don't want children or diseases, you have got to use protection EVERY SINGLE TIME.
