after a while concerning maybe their intelligence, motivation if they continue to be the bottom feeders economically after say 100 more years.

it just seems to me that blacks as a whole are regressing....I just can't imagine it ever balancing out. I base a lot of my opnions on the performance of individuals, and quite frankly blacks are lagging behind, and it's not because of racism anymore. It's not like they being kept from going places or doing things. People choose to deal and do drugs, to shoot each other, to rob banks.....that's not because of racism. White people that rob banks, shoot people, and who deal and do drugs aren't doing those things because of racism are they? I think there has to be accountability on the part of black people, but instead their leaders simply make excuses whether they claim racism or other non-sensible things.

Black Americans are a vast sect of the American population. The portion that is out making a living, working, doing, raising a family, making the America a better place to live is what is great about the Black American. But there are those in the Black American population that are sleaze, scummy, nasty, (and I know that i will get call a racist for using this word, but it fits) *******. These are the ones that are drug dealers, drug users, gang members. The ones that steal, murder, rape, and bring the rest of the Black community down.

Just like there are Mexicans that are making a living, working, doing, raising a family, making the America a better place to live as well. There are the one, the drug dealers, drug users, gang members. The ones that steal, murder, rape, I refer to, because I am Mexican I can say it, wet-back beaners. They make me sick because they are to lazy to get a job and help support America.

And they are in the White, Orientals, Arab, and Native American communities. All have the elements that bring down the rest of them, that bring down the Human race as a whole.

Where else in history has a people been enslaved on such a large scale, and when finally given their freedom, given absolutely nothing except segregation. The first large scale importation of slave to the US started about 1640 and the emancipation proclamation was in 1863 that's 223 years worth of bondage and only 143 years since slavery was abolished. In that amount of time I think blacks have adapted better than anyone in the history of the world. You on the other hand still seem so narrow minded as to base successes on financial gains were as blacks were taken from a country who's societal structures were not capitalistic in nature. They did not until the last half century have guns to take what they wanted by force as did the white folks who called themselves civilized. Recently on this site there was a person who said he runs an employment agency and rents out monkeys, it's people with that mindset and yours that are keeping black people collectively poorer not the intelligence or motivation factor. I for one have an IQ of 148 and had applied it to a career as a piping and electrical designer for Sun Oil Company but saw so much racism that I quit after 10 years of service because I had enough talent and skills to do on my own, and now I have white folks beating down my door for my services which are many.

Now that technology is making the world smaller things will change a bit more rapidly I hope your ready.

I think they will raise their income as well as their quality of life if they use education as a stepping stone. With affirmative action in play, there are a tremendous opportunities out there for all minorities. But first they have to stop blaming "whitey" for all their problems, and drop the phrase, "'cause I'm black", I didn't get this or that. The generation now are not at all like the generation before them, there was a morality there. If the women stop having babies out of wed lock, and having multiple children, by multiple men, that will help the generation to come.
The life time welfare programs that are in place now are not doing them any favors. It should only be used as a bridge to a better life... so while on welfare, there should be mandatory education programs suited for the individual, so they can get on with learning a trade, and hence, supporting their families. It's such ashamed that most of their "self imposed leaders" only perpetuate this state of affairs for the Black community. They are Pimps, selling out their own race. Very Sad indeed.

No, because whites had many hundreds years as a head start, and because many countries with blacks are recovering from being ransacked by whites, whites are doing financially better. Once the dust settles, it will even out.

Intelligence is a non issue as it is all relative. You see, intelligence is based on what the group with the entire power think is important. For instance, if a tribal group does all their cooking over an open flame while the group with the big guns does all their cooking on a GE electrical range, the group with the big guns will call the tribal group primitive and savages. Keeping up with technology is destroying our health and the earth. Sometimes, people are too “smart” for their own good.

If the welfare generation doesn't stop then yes. I live in the south. I am NOT prejudice, some of the finest hardest working people I know are black and some of the sorriest, trashiest, most worthless people I know are white.
The problem that I have seen is in the welfare system. The government especially the Dem's. have helped them into complete dependency and they like it that way. When the black people as a race decide to take responsibility for themselves, quit riding the coattails of their ancestors admittedly bad past (come on now how many actual slaves are still alive today), and realize that they are pawns of the liberal government who is oppressing them not helping them, then and only then will they become economically comparable to other races.
