I used the Playtex disposable bottles (the ones that requre liners) and they are so good. You are not constantly washing bottles, all that you wash are the nipples and I had 6 bottles with my son.

With my first son, we didn't have a dishwasher, so yes...I was constantly washing bottles. It was hellish!! We got one shortly after my second son was born, but still...using those Playtex VentAire bottles (even though they do help with gas, I think) is still a pain because of all the parts you have to take apart. Then when they come out of the dishwasher, you have to put them back together.
My younger son just turned one a few weeks ago and is now completely weaned from the bottle. I chucked them all in the trash, and it was glorious!!!

I made sure to have enough bottle so that I only had to wash once a day. I would was them let them air dry and fill them all, when they are all used it's time to wash again.

I know what you mean. My son has three 1 - milk, 1-water, 1-juice. I usually use a baby bottle washer and then sterilize before using again.

I was taught a neat trick. You put a few spoons of rice in the bottle and some soapy water, shake it and voila! Clean!
Try it
That's dry rice -- as in uncooked

Back when I was doing this, I had my husband wash them. Then, glory of glories...we FINALLY got a dishwasher. I thought he was going to dance the jig on the kitchen table.
